Heal the inner feminine, release the things you inherited, the beliefs, the ideas and feelings, judgements and restrictions. Let go of them. Lay them to rest. Let them become the fertilizer for you to rise up into your full feminine power...rise like the eagle, fierce and determined, passionate and strong, rise above what was, spread your wings, see far, and know who you truly are.

This painting was inspired by a series of experiences and dreams centered around themes of healing the mother wound, taking control and taking action with passion. The eagle flew across my path driving home a few days before i planned to start this painting and felt like a clear message to let the feminine within me soar and be strong. i made a video of me starting this painting and talking about all the symbolism and meaning behind it. you can see here.
