Each bowl is individually sand-cast into a mold made from an original master die pressed into a mix of sand and molasses. After the die is removed a molten metal mix of copper, tin, zinc, and iron is poured into the mold. The mold is almost immediately opened and the sand mix falls away from the still glowing cast bow. After cooling the bowl is scraped and polished smooth on a lathe.

Discounted due to cosmetic imperfections. Imperfections do not effect sound quality.
