When you think about a retreat you may have visions of a day at the beach or a long hike in the woods. Or maybe it is a week-long art retreat in Hawaii.
But what if you do not have the time or means to make such a retreat happen? Does that mean the benefits of a communion with your soul is unavailable to you? Of course not! You do not have to GO anywhere to have a retreat. In fact, the word itself, retreat, indicates a withdrawing, or drawing into oneself. And that can be done anywhere, any time. Retreat allows you time away from the hectic demands of life and, when successful, puts your worried logical mind at rest and allows your intuition to come to the forefront and play! This is a HUGE benefit as it refreshes your creativity, your outlook, and often leads to breakthroughs.
I encourage you to make space in your week for a retreat of anywhere from an hour to a full day.
