As I was painting the other day I was reflecting on the difference I feel in my life and my creative process compared to a year ago. I used to question every choice, feel tightness around my actions in life and at the canvas. Now, I do not hestitate. I do not second guess. I do not, most of the time, judge. More and more I find my life and creativity in a state of inspired flow.
I created WATERSHED to help you get here...to get past the not knowing, the second-guessing, the hesitation, the judgement, the worry, the perfectionism. I am calling this class WATERSHED because I anticipate that it will be a watershed experience for you, transforming your approach to life, painting, and other creative endeavors.
This is a photo of me with my first commissioned paintings...a watershed moment that would not have been possible without the Watershed process!
How I freed my creativity
As I was reflecting I realized that there were two things that helped me make the transformation from timid and fearful to bold and expressive.
The first was repetition. The more I painted the more confidence I got. I tried different things and learned from them.
The second was learning to let go of the outcome.
With this in mind, WATERSHED includes both of these elements for a full day of creating, fast, without overthinking, and without attachment to the outcome.
How do we do this?
First off, we paint a LOT, creating up to six paintings in the course of the workshop!
And second, we only use two canvases to do it. You read right...just TWO canvases. As you can guess, this means you will be painting OVER things you just created. Mind-blowing, right? WATERSHED is powerful and fun...and I cannot wait to share it with you.

Take the plunge...let go of self-judgement and perfectionism. In August 2016 I felt disconnected, and sensed that I was making choices and decisions for the wrong reasons...from fear. So I made a pledge not to make any major decisions until I was unified, listening to my inner guidance. After several months of soul searching, in January 2017, a dream showed me I could use painting as a daily meditative practice to create my future. I broke out my forgotten art supplies and dusted off my skills. I started drawing my cats (you can see these photos on instagram and immediately noticed how drawing brought me to a meditative state where the endless stream of thoughts in my mind slowed and quieted. I now share these amazing techniques with others in hopes that they, too, will find unity and courageously step onto their soul paths!
