COMING HOME

When i was a girl, i loved the Wizard of Oz. It aired once a year on TV and i waited for it with almost as much anticipation as Christmas.

It wasn't until many many years later that i started to unravel why Dorothy's heroic journey struck such a deep chord in my heart... i, too, was looking for home. It took me into midlife before i discovered that the home i yearned for was within me.

In this collection, i explore the journey home. The letting go, the unravelling, the disintegration, and the re-membering. Sometimes this is found in quiet moments we steal from the distractions and chaos of life, at others it greets us in the presence of nature, in the arms of a tree, or being rocked by the powerful waves of the ocean.
