Freedom Run

Freedom Run is inspired by a dream of a beauty and her steed, kept in a beautiful stable but prisoners none-the-less. The beauty believed she could win her freedom through her magnetism and charm. But the years passed, and her steed craved freedom. Recognizing that the beauty was not taking action, the horse made the hard choice to abandon his mistress and escape the stable with another. The raven represents the awareness needed to take responsibility for and create the life we desire.

The message of this art: Inside you is a wild and beautiful horse, your creative soul. It is kept in a comfortable, clean stable so nice that you do not notice you are kept, owned, bridled, shod, braided, and caged. Until awareness flies from the heavens on the wings of a raven soaring across the open plains, calling out, inviting your creative soul to set itself free.
