“You may not recognize me, my hair wild from the sea,
Sun gold my skin
The cliffs I climbed gifted me with a cut on my shin
Singing a tune I caught walking barefoot at noon.
Seagull feathers in my hair
Seaweed between my toes,
You may not recognize me.
I set myself free.”
