Mermaid: Deep Below

Mermaid: Deep Below is inspired by an interaction I had with another artist who reminded me that deep within each of us we are the same light, and that our task is to respect one another, tend and honor the creative spark through how we treat ourselves, our art, and those with whom we interact. It was a call to take myself seriously as an artist, to let go of ideas I had about the value of being an artist that were no longer supportive (if they ever were) of my creativity and my soul path.

The message: “Honor the creative spark that lies deep below the surface of every living being.”
