The Long Journey was inspired by a vivd dream of baby sea turtles swimming in the air above me. The symbolic message I received from the dream, which happened just as I was beginning to find my way on my soul path return to art, was that this is just the beginning of what is a life long process of growth and creative expression. I have a tendency to get very excited with beginnings, and tend to have a feeling like the work is done… or at least I did when I awoke to the call of creativity. And this dream was a gentle playful call to remember that this is not a flash in the pan thing… and to prepare myself for a long journey… a life’s work… ahead.
