Threshold is about the part of ourselves that has been hidden in the shadows. The feminine, creator, intuitive, spiritually guided lived hidden by the flowers she has grown, in the garden she created, out of sight, behind the scenes. You might not have known she was there were it not for the blooming, colorful abundance all around you. Maybe you took her for granted. But at last you have turned your attention away from the world for a moment… curious to look into the garden. Momentarily sun-blinded, your eyes slowly begin to see that what at first appeared empty blackness holds the essence and source you have been longing for… the guide and guardian of the unknown. She emerges, standing at the edge of inside and out. SHe was always there, you just had to learn to see.

The words written into this painting:

Unstoppable
I will no longer hide
Intuition is my guide.
On the threshold, letting go.
The vast unknown where I must go,
where I grow.

Silence the voices telling you no.
Still the fears stopping your flow.
Letting go of all you know.
On the threshold, now you grow.
